We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to work cohesively within our company in New Ground up construction of both commercial and residential projects across the greater NYC area. In this role, you will be responsible for familiarizing yourself with Drawings, Trade Specific Scopes of Work, Contracts, Completion Schedules and Materials. Job Description: A Project Manager in the Building and Construction industry will be Expected to: - Have excellent planning skills, schedule tasks effectively and decisively and meet deadlines. - Have a comprehensive understanding of construction safety requirements. - Coordinate Materials and staff in order to maximize productivity. - Track Progress and ensure project is on time and within budget. - Understand scope changes and Monetary values associated. - Track Schedule and Milestones of assigned projects. - Demonstrate assertiveness, attentive communication skills and the ability to multi task. - Effectively manage staff, monitoring quality of work, and assure scopes of work are completed as per manufactures specifications. Successful Applicants will Posses: - 5 Years Construction Management Experience - Possess a strong work ethic and be self motivated - Proficiency in Microsoft and Bluebeam take-off software - Strong Communication Skills. - Knowledge of architectural plans, specifications and construction terminology. - Productive in team environments.
