Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to join our real estate development team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing residential and mixed-use projects throughout the entire development lifecycle, from initial planning and design to construction, authority approvals, project completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage real estate development projects from concept and design through construction, completion and handover.
• Lead and coordinate architects, structural and MEP consultants, main contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, progress monitoring and resource allocation.
• Review and monitor technical drawings, design submissions, material specifications, method statements and shop drawings.
• Oversee all technical aspects of residential and mixed-use projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities, including Dubai Municipality, DLD, Dubai South, Civil Defence, DEWA and other applicable authorities, for permits, NOCs, inspections and final approvals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality, progress and compliance with approved standards.
• Identify technical issues, project delays and potential risks, and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims and contractor performance.
• Prepare regular project progress reports and provide updates to management..

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management within real estate development or construction.
• Strong experience managing projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to manage contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams. Practical experience dealing with UAE authorities and obtaining project-related approvals.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, architectural and MEP works, along with expertise in project planning, budgeting, construction management and quality control.
• Excellent coordination, communication, problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and authority requirements.
