This is an operations-focused project management role requiring strong construction knowledge, field coordination, organization, cost and schedule control, employee management, and professional reporting to ownership. Key Responsibilities · Take responsibility for day-to-day project execution and organization. · Keep each assigned project on schedule and within the approved budget. · Develop, maintain, and actively manage project schedules, look-ahead schedules, milestones, and workflow. · Schedule and coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, trades, and required site activities. · Coordinate between field teams, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, office staff, and ownership. · Directly manage company field employees assigned to the project, including daily work assignments, productivity, coordination, and accountability. · Review and understand construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements. · Identify field conflicts, missing information, schedule risks, and cost impacts early and bring them forward for resolution. · Coordinate material procurement: place and track material orders as authorized, verify lead times, and make sure required materials are available when needed. · Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress photos, schedules, meeting notes, open-item lists, and follow-up records. · Track project costs and commitments and immediately flag potential budget overruns, scope changes, or additional work before they affect the project. · Maintain consistent communication with ownership and provide clear, professional weekly project updates covering progress, schedule, budget, open issues, decisions required, and upcoming work. · Coordinate inspections, consultants, and project requirements as needed · Maintain an organized, professional project environment and follow through on commitments until completion. Required Qualifications · Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience. · Strong practical knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, trades, materials, and field operations. · Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings and specifications. · Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors, vendors, employees, and project teams. · Strong scheduling, organization, documentation, and follow-up skills. · Ability to prepare clear written reports and communicate professionally with ownership. · NYC construction experience required Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
