Applicants must have at least 10 years of experience including complex residential projects and be adept in standard industry applications and best practices. Position requires the ability to execute a structured approach to project management, as well as strong leadership and people skills. Applicants must be able to adapt to changing conditions, anticipate problems and solutions, and be poised under pressure. A positive attitude is a must. Below are some of the responsibilities the project manager is expected to assume in their position: - Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget - Organize and plan project tasks and schedules - Manage tasks in accordance with standards and those of the company - Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants - Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities - Facilitate and encourage collaboration across team members to ensure projects are completed successfully - Delegate work to team members based on skills and expertise - Optimize project deliverables, schedule, and budgeting - Work with proposal teams to develop cost estimates and project plans - Create presentations and reports to communicate project status - Keep the project team focused on the end goal Requirements: - Understanding and ability to implement construction project management best practices - Highly proficient in reading plans - Highly proficient in estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, and proposal preparation - Ability to analyze data, problem solve, and multi-task handling all RFIs and RFPs, submittals, and shop drawings - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Strong interpersonal skills, executive presence, and dedicated team player - Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills - Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software tools Experience: - Minimum 10 years construction project management experience - Budgeting - Scheduling - Excellent communication skills - written and oral - Excellent organization skills - Extensive knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Project - Knowledge of Contractor Foreman a plus - Coordination of Trades Compensation: Negotiable, depending on experience Opportunity for financial, professional and personal growth Schedule: - Monday to Friday - 8 hour shift Typical end time: - 4PM Typical start time: - 7AM Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year Education: - High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA
