In this role you will work directly with Project Managers, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Clients to execute commercial and utility solar installations across the USA. Ideal candidates will have an elevated level of pride, integrity, and diligence. The position is part of Sante’s core execution team and requires accountability for project delivery, costs, team culture and performance. Required Training : OSHA Training, MS Suite, MS Project, Procore Required Experience : 5 years’ working experience in Construction Management in Solar or BESS. Responsibilities Key Duties • Ensure that teams follow prime contract requirements and deadlines and that these are tracked. Track CO’s from subs and to client ensuring that all backup is available. Push back on non-valid CO’s from subs. Ensure that weekly client meetings are up to date, have all pertinent information and support internal teams on presentations and questions. Ensure subcontractors have daily/weekly attendance at meetings, address required recovery plans, schedule updates, and resource requirements from subs and drive subs to contractual completion dates. Support project management on cost, schedule and deliverables as well as needed. Verify that the QA/QC program is current, forms are correctly completed and that quality is a driven and viable deliverable. Support pre-construction on bids and SOW requirements. Track lessons learned. Familiar with various PM tools commonly used in the industry. Site Management and Support Work closely with Project Managers to efficiently manage cost & schedule and direct subcontractors and vendors across multiple sites. Manage Sante site teams ensuring daily tasks are completed and supporting them as/when needed. Ensure all aspects of projects are safely built to specification, meeting codes and industry best practices. Build and maintain a healthy relationship with clients and subcontractors. Manage project schedules & site production, submit progress logs and reports to ensure timely, safe and code compliant installations. Monitor and address site safety while proactively resolving problems - Implement and monitor a site-specific quality assurance program, including inspections, checklists, and non-conformance tracking. Field Quality Assurance Program Leadership and support Interpreting project scope of work and subcontract language to control trade contractor performance with respect to compliance, scope creep, cost optimization, code requirements, construction sequencing, and constructability. Work with the project management team to provide comprehensive weekly / bi-weekly schedule updates. Assist project manager with preparation of progress payments to clients and trade contractors, and monitor’s progress. Commissioning Assist with writing project specific commissioning plans, understanding contractual testing & commissioning requirements, and executing field testing in coordination with trade contractors & 3rd parties. Coordinate and attend Interconnection/ Utility Outage and inspections. Collect commissioning documents from subcontractors. Project Closeout and troubleshooting Create punch list and confirm remediation. Track necessary documents and tasks needed throughout the project to ensure a timely and complete project closeout. Diagnose and resolve a wide range of issues before, during and after installations. Closeout of SWPPP and permits. Construction Feasibility reviews of Site Design Review completed design documents and provide feedback to engineers and teams. Requirements · 5 years’ working experience in Solar Construction Management. · Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical aspects of PV Construction. · Proficient in reading and understanding design plans / blueprints. · Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task while efficiently completing tasks. · Knowledge of PV Commissioning requirements and experience commissioning systems. · Knowledge of DAS systems · Ability to efficiently work from the job site daily and lift and move up to 50 lbs.
