Construction Manager

The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all marine civil construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution Manage day-to-day construction activities for marine civil projects. Supervise construction of jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, marine structures, revetments, dredging support works, and associated infrastructure. Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules. Coordinate mobilization of manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and materials. Construction Management Develop and monitor construction schedules and work plans. Identify and resolve construction issues to avoid delays. Monitor productivity and resource utilization. Coordinate site activities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities. Health, Safety & Environment Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and client requirements. Promote a strong safety culture across the project site. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in incident investigations. Ensure all marine operations comply with applicable maritime safety regulations. Quality Control Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project quality standards. Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with the QC team and consultant. Review NCRs and implement corrective actions. Commercial & Cost Control Monitor project costs and resource allocation. Assist in evaluating variations, claims, and change orders. Support project management in achieving budget objectives. Stakeholder Coordination Attend progress meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Prepare construction progress reports and recovery plans when required. Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. PMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable. Relevant professional memberships are an advantage. Experience Minimum 10-15 years of experience in civil construction. At least 5 years in marine construction projects. Experience in jetties, ports, marine piling, quay walls, breakwaters, marine concreting, and coastal infrastructure projects. GCC/UAE marine construction experience preferred. Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED25,948.90 per month Work Location: In person
