# Construction Manager **Arco Turnkey Solutions Contracting L.L.C** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager with a minimum of 10 years of UAE contracting experience to manage and oversee construction projects from mobilization through completion. The ideal candidate must have strong experience working with a main contractor/contracting company and be capable of managing site teams, subcontractors, consultants, resources, schedules, quality, safety, and project execution. Key Responsibilities - Manage overall construction activities for projects from mobilization to handover. - Plan, coordinate, and control site operations in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and project schedules. - Lead Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, and other site personnel. - Coordinate with the Project Manager, client, consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities. - Review IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, method statements, and project requirements. - Ensure works are executed in accordance with contract documents and approved drawings. - Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and agreed schedules. - Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources required for project execution. - Coordinate with planning and commercial teams to monitor project progress, variations, delays, and contractual requirements. - Review construction programs and ensure site activities are progressing according to the approved schedule. - Identify delays, technical issues, and resource constraints and implement appropriate corrective actions. - Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. - Ensure proper coordination between civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines. - Coordinate inspections, approvals, testing, snagging, and project handover. - Ensure compliance with project QA/QC requirements and approved method statements. - Coordinate with the HSE team to ensure safe execution of all site activities. - Conduct regular site coordination and progress meetings. - Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports. - Assist the Project Manager with project cost control, variations, claims, and subcontractor management. - Monitor subcontractor performance and contractual compliance. - Review and coordinate site instructions, RFIs, inspection requests, and technical queries. - Maintain proper project documentation and records. - Coordinate with UAE authorities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and approvals. - Support project close-out, final inspections, snagging, testing and commissioning, and handover. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline . - Minimum 10 years of UAE contracting experience . - Candidates must have experience working for a main contractor/contracting company . - Proven experience in managing construction projects and large multidisciplinary site teams. - Strong experience in subcontractor management and coordination. - Strong understanding of construction contracts, project specifications, BOQs, drawings, and method statements. - Good knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority requirements, and project procedures. - Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities. - Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, quality control, and HSE requirements. - Knowledge of Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and MS Office is an advantage. - Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - UAE driving licence is preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile - 10+ years of UAE experience specifically with contracting companies/main contractors. - Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Construction Manager, or Project Manager with a contracting company. - Experience managing multiple subcontractors and large site teams. - Strong understanding of contractual and commercial aspects of projects. - Proven experience delivering projects within approved schedules, budgets, and quality requirements. - Strong knowledge of UAE project procedures and consultant/client coordination. - Candidates from main contracting backgrounds are preferred .
