The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction activities and ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, schedules, and budgets. The role requires strong leadership and coordination across site teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders, with a strong focus on construction progress, quality, safety, and timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee day-to-day construction activities from mobilization through project completion. Manage and coordinate site teams, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. Monitor construction progress against approved project schedules and milestones. Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Review and coordinate technical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and other construction documentation. Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with required quality standards. Coordinate inspections, testing, approvals, and corrective actions throughout the construction process. Identify construction risks, delays, and technical issues and implement appropriate corrective measures. Coordinate site logistics, manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient project execution. Monitor contractors' performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements. Coordinate with the Project Manager and relevant design and engineering teams to resolve technical and construction-related issues. Monitor project progress and provide regular reports on construction status, risks, delays, and required actions. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and site regulations. Participate in progress meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. Support the review of project schedules, claims, variations, and extension-of-time requests where applicable. Drive efficient construction practices and contribute to continuous improvement in project execution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. 12+ years of professional experience in construction management, site management, or project execution. Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects within architectural, engineering, construction, or consultancy environments. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site operations, quality control, and project execution. Extensive experience managing contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary site teams. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation. Proven ability to manage construction schedules, resources, site logistics, and project priorities. Strong knowledge of inspection, quality assurance, and quality control processes. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to identify and resolve construction issues effectively and in a timely manner. Proficiency in AutoCAD, or equivalent project/construction management tools is an advantage. Knowledge of relevant construction codes, standards, health and safety requirements, and industry best practices. PMP, CCM, or other relevant professional certification is an advantage. Willingness to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt . Pay: E£20,000.00 - E£60,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
