# Conformist **prasad film lab hyderabad** · Hyderabad, Telangana · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Conformist & Technical Execution - Execute high-precision conforming of complex timelines for Theatrical, OTT, and Broadcast releases from EDL, XML, and AAF formats. - Perform conform tasks seamlessly across Base light, IQ Quantel NEO V.5.2, and DaVinci Resolve . - Verify opticals, resizes, speed changes, re-framing, aspect ratio changes, color space transformations, and timecode accuracy against offline reference edits. Inter-Departmental Coordination & Workflow - Creative & Color: Coordinate regularly with Department Heads and lead Colorists regarding project progress, edit updates, re-conforms, and visual changes. - VFX Integration: Liaise directly with the VFX Department to track shot turnovers, verify plate specs, swap updated VFX shots, and ensure timely final delivery for color grading. - Editorial Alignment: Flag and inform Offline Editors immediately about conforming discrepancies, edit modifications, late changes, and final edit locks. - Data & Mastering: Partner with Data Management and Digital Mastering teams to ingest source material, manage camera original footage (RAW/OCF), and package final assets/master deliverables (DCP, IMF, ProRes, Broadcast Master files). - IT & Technical Support: Coordinate with the IT/Systems Engineering team to resolve hardware/software technical issues, optimize storage bandwidth, and manage data archiving and tape/LTO backup workflows. Administrative & Quality Assurance - Maintain meticulous, accurate records and technical logs of all jobs, shots processed, versioning, and project milestones. - Conduct thorough QC (Quality Control) passes on conformed timelines prior to color grading and final mastering. Qualifications & Skills Technical Expertise - Software Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with Baselight , DaVinci Resolve , and Quantel (IQ NEO V.5.2 / Pablo / Rio) systems. - Format Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various camera media (ARRI, RED, Sony, Canon, Phantom), file formats (ProRes, DNxHR, EXR, DPX), color spaces (ACES, Rec.709, Rec.2020, P3-DCI), and frame rate conversions. - Technical Workflows: Solid understanding of offline-to-online workflows, color management pipelines, IMF/DCP packaging, and delivery specs for major OTT platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc.) and broadcast networks. Professional Qualifications - Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finishing/conforming for theatrical films, high-end OTT series, or broadcast content within a professional post-production/DI studio. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate across cross-functional post-production teams. - Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting capability under tight production deadlines with high attention to detail.
