Conference and Banqueting Assistant

Main Duties: Setup and breakdown of conference rooms, and other event spaces according to client specifications and hotel standards. Work closely with the Meeting and Events Manager and Supervisor to support event planning and operational coordination. Ensure all audio-visual equipment and other event-related technology are properly set up and functioning. Address and resolve any issues or special requests from clients promptly and professionally. Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and attention to detail. Oversee food and beverage service during events. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards. Supporting the wider Food and Beverage department as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience in Conference and Banqueting operations preferred. Available to work flexible hours. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively.
