A Compliance Specialist owns daily operations for customs clearance on ocean, air, rail, and truck cross-border shipments. Key job responsibilities Drawback Entry Filing & Operations - Prepare and file duty drawback entries with CBP in accordance with 19 USC §1313 - Validate import and export data to establish drawback eligibility - Submit timely filings within statutory deadlines Data Management & Analysis - Collect, reconcile, and maintain import/export datasets to support drawback claims - Identify data gaps or discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve - Build and maintain tracking reports for drawback claim status and recovery amounts - Perform data validation and quality checks prior to filing Regulatory & Compliance - Support audit readiness by maintaining organized filing records and documentation - 1+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration experience - Knowledge of Excel at a basic level (e.g., UX navigation, math & logical functions, lookup functions, etc.) - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required - Experience performing accurate data entry and analysis
