The New York City Police Department Human Resources Division, Pre-Employment Services Unit seeks two (2) Community Assistants to assist with Department operations. The selected candidates will perform the following duties, which include, but are not limited to: Attend recruitment and networking events representing the NYPD Screen potential candidates for employment. Act as the liaison to Colleges and Universities we partner with for information about upcoming recruitment events. Manage calendar of recruitment events Preparing and posting job advertisements online and in print media. Vet resumes Performing recruitment duties such as scheduling interviews, answering phone calls and monitoring emails.
