# Commissioning (CX) Manager - Dublin **PM Group** · Dublin, County Dublin · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role : PM Group's Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) department are seeking an experienced Commissioning (CX) Manager to join a high-performing project delivery team supporting the commissioning and start-up of large-scale mission critical facilities in Ireland. The Commissioning (CX) Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering all commissioning and qualification activities associated with complex engineering, pharmaceutical, life sciences, data centre, industrial, and advanced manufacturing projects. The role ensures that systems are designed, installed, tested, documented, and handed over in accordance with project requirements, regulatory standards, safety procedures, and client expectations. The CX Manager will act as the primary interface between design teams, construction teams, vendors, quality teams, and client representatives to achieve a safe and efficient transition from construction completion through commissioning, start-up, qualification, and operational readiness. : Commissioning Leadership Develop and implement the overall project commissioning strategy. Establish commissioning execution plans, schedules, and resource requirements. Lead multidisciplinary commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure commissioning activities are aligned with project milestones and client requirements. Manage commissioning budgets, resources, and third-party commissioning contractors. Project Planning & Execution Review design documentation and provide commissioning input during project development. Coordinate system boundaries, turnover packages, and commissioning priorities. Develop commissioning procedures, protocols, and system-specific test plans. Oversee pre-commissioning, static commissioning, dynamic commissioning, and integrated system testing activities. Ensure timely completion and closure of commissioning punch lists. Safety Management Champion a strong safety culture across all commissioning activities. Ensure all commissioning works are executed in accordance with site safety procedures and permit-to-work systems. Conduct risk assessments, method statement reviews, and commissioning hazard reviews. Lead commissioning readiness and safe-start reviews. Quality & Compliance Ensure all commissioning activities comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and client specifications. Support qualification and validation activities where required. Verify accurate completion of commissioning documentation and turnover dossiers. Ensure traceability and quality of testing records. Stakeholder Management Act as the primary commissioning contact for clients and project stakeholders. Coordinate activities with engineering, construction, quality, operations, and maintenance teams. Facilitate commissioning meetings and progress reviews. Provide regular status updates and performance reports to project leadership. System Turnover & Handover Manage system turnover processes from construction to commissioning and from commissioning to operations. Ensure equipment and systems meet defined acceptance criteria. Support operational readiness and training activities. Lead formal handover of systems to the client and operations teams. Continuous Improvement Capture lessons learned and best practices. Develop and improve commissioning standards, tools, and procedures. Mentor commissioning engineers and junior team members. Promote innovation and efficiency in commissioning delivery. : Essential Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical, Automation, or related discipline). Minimum 10+ years' experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, or project delivery. Minimum 5 years' experience leading commissioning teams on major capital projects. Strong understanding of commissioning and start-up methodologies. Preferred Professional Engineering qualification (Chartered Engineer or equivalent). Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.). Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or equivalent. Qualification/Validation experience within regulated industries.
