Commissioning Agent
We’re hiring a Commissioning Agent, on a 4-day week. Are you someone who wants to play a direct role in closing the gap between how buildings are designed to perform and how they perform in reality?
- You might be a controls engineer who knows sequences inside out,
- a BMS specialist who spots problems in trend data,
- a contractor who’s commissioned systems on site,
- or an MEP designer or energy engineer who wants to see buildings perform in the real world.
The role spans early design through to occupancy, delivering fundamental, enhanced and monitoring-based commissioning. You’ll help shape Owner’s Project Requirements, review designs and Basis of Design documents, develop commissioning plans and systems manuals, verify system performance and use BMS data to optimise and fine-tune existing buildings.
You’ll need solid HVAC and controls experience, a strong grasp of building automation and the confidence to work with owners, designers and contractors. A CxA, BCxP, CCP, CIBSE commissioning credential or LEED AP is an advantage, but not essential. If you have the technical foundation, we’ll support you in developing the rest.
- 4 working days per week. Full salary. Friday off.
Varied new-build and existing-building projects, with the opportunity to move from delivering buildings to making them perform.
If you’re based in Ireland and come from commissioning, controls, BMS, contracting, design or energy engineering, we’d like to hear from you.
- Know someone who’d be a great fit? Let them know about this role.
