We're looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Finance & Operational Support manager to help us keep our business financially strong, make our processes work smarter and support the people who make our business what it is.

Who are we looking for?

Perhaps you're working in a larger organisation, but your contribution gets lost in the crowd.

Ideally, you'll be a qualified accountant, preferably ACMA, with experience in a commercially focused or entrepreneurial business environment.

But qualifications and experience are only part of the picture.

• Has the confidence to challenge constructively and the personality to bring people along with them.

Above all, we want someone who takes ownership, has a positive attitude and genuinely cares about helping a business and its people succeed.

What's the role all about?

You'll take ownership of our Head Office finances and lead our finance and operational support function, making sure everything runs smoothly, efficiently and commercially.

You'll be involved in a varied and interesting mix of responsibilities, including:

• Taking ownership of management accounts, budgets, cash flow, forecasts and financial controls.
• Monitoring profitability, margins and financial performance across the business.
• Managing the financial performance of our National Account contracts, including quotes, pricing reviews and customer price increases.
• Leading and developing our finance and administration team, ensuring we deliver an excellent service.
• Improving invoicing, credit control, reconciliations and day-to-day administrative processes.
• Helping our franchisees understand their numbers, improve profitability and make better business decisions.
• Identifying opportunities to use better systems, technology, AI and automation to make the business more efficient.

You'll need to be happy rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail, but also confident enough to challenge the way things are done and bring forward ideas that make a real difference.
