All available Master Thesis Program 2027 projects can be found here: Denmark - Coloplast A/S Jobs Hosting Team & Department Global Operations, Operations Excellence, Strategy & Development Project Description How does Coloplast’s manufacturing and operations practices compare with leading companies globally, and what can we learn from organizations that operate differently or more effectively? This thesis project will establish an outside-in perspective on Global Operations by identifying, benchmarking, and analyzing relevant manufacturing companies across industries and geographies. The student(s) will investigate how selected companies organize and manage their operations and compare their approaches across a defined set of strategic, operational, organizational, and technological parameters. The project will include identifying suitable benchmark companies, developing a structured comparison framework, and gathering insights from publicly available information, external databases, academic research, expert interviews, and other relevant sources. The student(s) will analyze where Coloplast appears to lead, align with, or differ from external practices, while considering differences in industry context, product characteristics, regulatory requirements, and operating models. The outcome should provide a fact-based view of Coloplast’s relative position, highlight practices and emerging trends worth exploring, and translate external insights into actionable recommendations for Global Operations. The project will help strengthen outside-in thinking and support informed discussions about future priorities, improvement opportunities, and areas requiring deeper investigation. You will join Global Operations unit, where more than 8,000 colleagues are working on planning, sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, engineering and quality to deliver high-quality products to Coloplast customers globally.
