Duties Lead and manage healthcare billing operations, ensuring compliance with medical billing regulations, Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance third-party billing standards. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of billing software and electronic health records (EHR) management systems to optimize revenue cycle processes. Coordinate product/project management activities related to medical coding, ICD coding, and healthcare billing management projects. Supervise team members involved in hospital revenue cycle management, providing guidance on health insurance knowledge and medical coding best practices. Develop and monitor workflows for medical billing processes, ensuring accuracy in coding, documentation, and submission procedures. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations by conducting regular audits for compliance with healthcare laws such as Medicare regulations and Medicaid guidelines. Manage administrative tasks related to project timelines, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication to support seamless operations. Experience Proven experience in healthcare billing management with a strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle management. Demonstrated knowledge of medical coding including ICD coding standards and medical billing procedures. Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as Medicare and Medicaid compliance requirements. Experience managing teams within a healthcare or medical billing environment, with skills in team management and leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation purposes. Hands-on experience with billing software systems and electronic health records (EHR) platforms. Strong understanding of health insurance policies, third-party payer processes, and revenue cycle management strategies.
