# CMMC Level 2 Gap Analysis Consultant **LegitBytes** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role CMMC Level 2 Gap Analysis Consultant Location: Dubai, UAE — Onsite Contract Duration: 12 weeks Engagement Type: Contract About the Role We are looking for experienced CMMC Level 2 consultants / cybersecurity professionals to support a client engagement in Dubai. The primary responsibility will be to conduct a comprehensive gap analysis and discovery exercise across the client’s environment and identify the controls, processes, and technical improvements required to work toward CMMC Level 2 compliance. This is an opportunity to contribute to a strategic engagement that may lead to follow-on cybersecurity engineering and implementation work. Key Responsibilities Conduct a CMMC Level 2 gap assessment across the client’s IT environment. Review existing security controls, policies, procedures, and technical configurations. Assess alignment with the CMMC Level 2 requirements and applicable NIST SP 800-171 practices . Identify security gaps, risks, and areas requiring remediation. Review an environment comprising approximately 4 systems and 60–80 servers . Document findings and prepare a clear gap analysis report. Develop a target-state roadmap outlining the improvements required to move toward CMMC Level 2 compliance. Collaborate with client stakeholders and the consulting team during discovery. Support discussions around potential remediation and engineering requirements. Requirements 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, GRC, security assessments, or infrastructure security. Hands-on experience with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, or similar security frameworks . Experience conducting security gap assessments or compliance readiness assessments. Strong understanding of infrastructure security, access control, system security, vulnerability management, logging, incident response, and configuration management. Ability to review technical environments and translate findings into practical remediation recommendations. Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work onsite in Dubai for the full 12-week engagement . Preferred Qualifications CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP), Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA), or relevant CMMC training/certification. Experience working with DoD contractors or organizations preparing for CMMC assessments. Experience with NIST SP 800-171 assessment methodology and System Security Plans (SSPs). Experience across Windows/Linux servers, cloud environments, network security, and enterprise infrastructure. Prior consulting or client-facing assessment experience. Important Note This engagement is focused on gap analysis, discovery, and target-state planning . The client is not currently undergoing a formal CMMC assessment .
