# Cloud Platform Engineer O&M **WeConnect Technology** · Taguig · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 7 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary We are looking for a Cloud Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to provide on-site technical support and daily operations for enterprise cloud platforms. The role will be responsible for monitoring cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting system changes, maintaining service availability, and coordinating with customers and cloud service providers. The ideal candidate has solid experience in cloud operations, Linux administration, Kubernetes, Docker, monitoring tools, and production troubleshooting . Experience with Alibaba Cloud is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Perform daily on-site monitoring, health checks, and maintenance of cloud platform infrastructure. Monitor cloud resources, system performance, alerts, capacity, and service availability. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, Linux, network, database, and application-related issues. Manage and support Alibaba Cloud services such as ECS, RDS, SLB, Redis, OSS, and other cloud resources. Perform basic cloud resource configuration, scaling, troubleshooting, and optimization. Support Linux servers (CentOS/Ubuntu) and develop or use Shell scripts for routine operations and troubleshooting. Support Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) environments, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resource management. Use monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, and ELK to identify and respond to system issues. Support cloud security activities, including security groups, firewalls, vulnerability checks, backup, and disaster recovery procedures. Coordinate and track customer tickets, incidents, technical issues, and service requests until resolution. Support production changes , including change planning, implementation, testing, and validation. Assist customers with cloud platform testing, business activities, and go-live requirements . Prepare daily service reports, inspection reports, project reports, change plans, and incident updates. Communicate technical issues, requirements, risks, and recommendations clearly to customers and relevant technical teams. Coordinate with cloud platform vendors and internal teams for issues requiring higher-level technical support. Respond promptly to critical incidents and support emergency troubleshooting when required. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Security , or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, or IT Operations & Maintenance . Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud is a plus. Good knowledge of Linux system administration and Shell scripting. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) . Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or ELK . Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, firewall, and basic network troubleshooting . Knowledge of MySQL and Nginx is an advantage. Understanding of cloud security, backup, disaster recovery, and vulnerability management. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work effectively with customers, technical teams, and cloud service providers. Willing to work 5x8 or 7x24 rotational shifts , including nights, weekends, and holidays when required. Willing to work on-site and respond to critical incidents within the required response time. Must be legally authorized to work in the assigned project location.
