Clinical Pharmacist
Job Responsibilities: Organize the day-to-day operations in the designated areas of services. To be responsible for scheduling Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians in the service areas. Supervise clinical activities offered by the department and re-evaluate from time to time to ensure that clinical resources are most appropriately used. To perform medication dispensing and medication counseling. Ensure all documents required by legislation are preserved and stored appropriately Ensure that only approved products are stored or available for use in the hospital To ensure the availability of formulary drugs at all service areas. Ensure proper inventory management of pharmaceutical products through periodic cycle count at service areas and drug checks at all storage locations. To ensure the security of dangerous drugs, psychotropic substances and controlled drugs are maintained at all times and their inventory is properly managed. To carry out orientation programs for new staff in the department. To perform periodic evaluations of respective staff in the department To develop and implement training programs for the departmental personnel To obtain and disseminate as necessary drug or drug therapy-related information To participate in the development and implementation of training programs in pharmacy areas for employees of CVSKL To participate, monitor, assess and review departmental KPI or quality indicator To undertake any other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. Requirement: Degree in Pharmacy or its equivalent qualification. Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in a hospital pharmacy.
