We provide high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care while building strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Our approach is clinical, practical, and person-centred. We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join the HaiNik Nutrition team to support residents living in Long-Term Care and Assisted Living settings. This role is ideal for a dietitian who enjoys geriatric nutrition, values autonomy, and is passionate about improving quality of life and making a meaningful impact on resident care. Key Responsibilities Identify, assess, and monitor nutrition and hydration risk levels for all Residents. Complete scheduled nutrition assessments, on admission, quarterly review, annual review and significant change in status. Develop, implement and monitor individualized nutrition care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams. Support nutrition management related to malnutrition, dysphagia, chronic disease management, wounds, enteral nutrition, hydration and weight changes. Participate in care conferences and provide resident and family nutrition education. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, food services, and other healthcare professionals to optimize resident care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of interventions and progress notes. Support menu reviews, audits and food service quality initiatives where appropriate. Provide education and support to dietary, nursing team and care staff. Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Stay current with the latest research and best practices in clinical nutrition. Perform additional duties as required. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Dietetics, with good standing with the College of Health and Care Professions of BC (CHCPBC). Experience in Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, Geriatrics or Clinical Nutrition preferred. Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate problem-solving. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Proficiency with computers, including experience using electronic medical records Must have proof of: Liability Insurance, WorkSafe BC Coverage, Vulnerable Sector Check.
