Position Cleaning Supervisor Department Operations / Facilities Management Reporting To Operations Manager / Soft Services Manager Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and responsible Cleaning Supervisor to oversee day-to-day cleaning operations and supervise cleaning teams across assigned client sites. The role will be responsible for manpower deployment, cleaning quality, staff performance, site inspections, client coordination, materials and equipment management, and ensuring compliance with company, client, health, safety and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage cleaning staff across assigned sites and ensure adequate manpower deployment. Prepare daily work schedules and allocate cleaning duties according to site requirements. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline and overall performance. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure required cleaning and hygiene standards are consistently maintained. Ensure cleaning activities are carried out according to approved SOPs, schedules and client requirements . Monitor the quality of general cleaning, deep cleaning, washroom cleaning, common areas, offices and other assigned areas. Train and guide cleaning staff on proper cleaning methods, chemical handling, equipment usage, hygiene and safety procedures. Ensure correct use, storage and dilution of cleaning chemicals and proper handling of cleaning equipment. Monitor cleaning materials, consumables, PPE, tools and machinery and coordinate replenishment when required. Handle staff absenteeism, replacements, manpower shortages and disciplinary issues and report major concerns to management. Coordinate with clients and site representatives regarding cleaning requirements, complaints and service quality. Respond promptly to client complaints and ensure corrective actions are implemented within the required timeframe. Maintain daily attendance records, site inspection checklists, manpower deployment records and operational reports. Conduct regular staff briefings and toolbox talks where required. Ensure all employees comply with company policies, HSE requirements, PPE standards and site-specific rules. Identify operational issues and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency. Coordinate with the Operations/Management team regarding manpower, materials, client requirements and operational challenges. Support management in maintaining good client relationships and achieving agreed service standards and KPIs. Perform other duties related to cleaning and soft services as assigned by management. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, Soft Services Supervisor or similar role. Previous experience in Facilities Management / Contract Cleaning is preferred. UAE experience in cleaning or facilities management will be an advantage. Proven experience in supervising and managing cleaning teams. Good knowledge of professional cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment and machinery. Good understanding of hygiene, health and safety requirements. Strong manpower planning and team-management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good client-handling and problem-solving abilities. Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel, Word, email and WhatsApp . Ability to prepare daily/weekly operational reports. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites or priorities. Driving Licence Valid UAE Driving Licence – Preferred. Candidates holding a valid UAE driving licence will have an advantage, particularly where the role requires travelling between client sites.
