Cleaning Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and manage cleaning teams across multiple Pesco client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily supervision of site teams, manpower deployment, attendance, cleaning quality, client satisfaction, materials, equipment, and operational compliance . The candidate must be capable of travelling between multiple sites and resolving operational issues independently. Key Responsibilities 1. Site & Team Management Supervise cleaning staff across multiple client locations. Ensure adequate manpower is available at every site. Allocate cleaners according to site requirements and workload. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and discipline. Arrange replacements for absent staff immediately. Conduct regular site inspections. Ensure cleaners follow approved cleaning schedules and SOPs. Monitor productivity and performance of each team. 2. Quality Control Conduct daily/regular inspections of all assigned sites. Ensure cleaning standards are maintained as per client requirements and Pesco SOPs. Identify areas requiring corrective action and ensure immediate rectification. Maintain inspection checklists and quality records. Monitor washrooms, common areas, offices, kitchens, external areas and other assigned areas. Ensure proper usage and dilution of cleaning chemicals. 3. Client Coordination Maintain good working relationships with client representatives and site contacts. Attend to client complaints promptly. Coordinate and close complaints within the agreed timeframe. Obtain client feedback regarding cleaning performance. Escalate major complaints or operational issues to management. Support the Operations Manager during client meetings and site inspections. 4. Manpower & Attendance Prepare and monitor daily manpower deployment. Verify attendance and overtime of site staff. Monitor annual leave, sick leave and absenteeism. Coordinate staff transfers between sites when required. Report manpower shortages immediately. Assist HR/Operations in recruitment requirements and staff replacement. 5. Materials & Equipment Monitor consumption of cleaning chemicals and consumables. Ensure cleaning materials are available at each site. Control wastage and unauthorized usage of chemicals/materials. Check condition and availability of cleaning equipment and machines. Report damaged or missing equipment. Coordinate with stores/procurement for material requirements. 6. Operational Reporting Submit daily site inspection reports. Prepare manpower and attendance reports. Report complaints, incidents and corrective actions. Submit weekly operational summaries to the Operations Manager. Maintain records of site inspections, material requirements and staff performance. Take and submit site photographs where required. 7. Staff Training & Discipline Train cleaners on proper cleaning procedures and chemical handling. Ensure staff understand site-specific requirements. Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings where required. Enforce proper uniform, PPE and personal hygiene standards. Take corrective action for poor performance, misconduct or repeated absenteeism and report serious cases to management. 8. Additional Pesco Services The supervisor may also be required to coordinate and monitor teams involved in Pesco's other soft-service activities, including: Deep cleaning Post-construction cleaning Housekeeping Water tank cleaning Swimming pool cleaning/maintenance support Kitchen and AC duct cleaning Pest-control support activities Waste management Disinfection and sanitization External cleaning Rope-access cleaning support Other FM/soft-service activities as assigned Driving & Mobility Valid UAE driving license is mandatory. Must be willing to travel between multiple sites across Dubai, Sharjah and other Emirates as required. Responsible for transporting small tools/materials and supporting site teams when required. Must be capable of independently visiting multiple sites every day. Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Cleaning Supervisor / Soft Services Supervisor / FM Supervisor. UAE facilities management or cleaning industry experience preferred. Valid UAE driving license – mandatory. Good knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and chemicals. Good manpower management skills. Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously. Good communication and client-handling skills. Basic computer skills, including WhatsApp, Excel and email. Ability to prepare daily reports. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability. Good leadership and team-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Immediate joiners preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) The Cleaning Supervisor will be evaluated based on: Site cleanliness and quality scores Client satisfaction Number of client complaints and closure time Staff attendance and manpower availability Staff productivity Timely completion of scheduled cleaning activities Chemical/material wastage control Site inspection compliance Staff discipline and grooming Accuracy and timely submission of reports Reduction of repeated complaints Proper utilization of company vehicles, equipment and materials Personal Attributes We are looking for someone who is: Responsible and trustworthy Highly organized Hands-on and willing to work in the field Strict with site discipline Good at managing people Customer-focused Proactive in solving problems Able to work independently Available outside normal office hours when operationally required Important Requirement This is a field-based supervisory position. The candidate must be comfortable travelling between multiple sites every day and taking direct responsibility for the performance and discipline of all assigned cleaning teams. UAE driving license is mandatory. Candidates without a valid UAE driving license will not be considered. Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
