# CIVIL ENGINEER FOR SWIMMING POOL & LANDSCAPE COMPANY **Belhasa Projects LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Pre-Construction and Technical Planning: - Review architectural drawings for swimming pools and hard landscaping elements (e.g., gazebos, water features, pathways) to ensure structural feasibility and compliance with engineering principles. - Perform or verify structural calculations for pool shells, foundations, and other concrete structures to ensure they can withstand all anticipated loads (water pressure, soil pressure, etc.). - Select and approve construction materials (e.g., specific grades of concrete, steel reinforcement, waterproofing materials) and review Method Statements for key construction activities. - Ensure all designs and planned works comply with Dubai Municipality (DM) and other relevant authority regulations and assist in preparing documents for obtaining necessary permits (NOCs). On-Site Project Execution and Supervision: - Supervise and manage all on-site civil work, including site setup, excavation, shoring, reinforcement steel fixing, formwork, and concrete pouring. - Conduct regular inspections at critical stages of construction to ensure all work is executed according to the approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This includes checking rebar spacing, concrete quality, and waterproofing applications. - Supervise the site team, including foremen and laborers, and manage any subcontractors performing specialized civil works. - Act as the first point of contact for any technical issues or challenges that arise on site, providing practical engineering solutions to keep the project on track. - Coordinate closely with MEP teams to ensure proper installation of pool filtration systems, underwater lighting, and drainage within the civil structures. Project Coordination and Reporting: - Track project progress against the established schedule, identify potential delays, and report findings to the Operations Manager. - Prepare regular progress reports for the Operations Manager, detailing site activities, milestones achieved, resource utilization, and any on-site issues. - Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and architects to discuss technical aspects and ensure alignment on project execution. - Assist the Operations Manager in planning for necessary manpower, materials, and equipment for the civil works portion of the projects. Post-Construction and Handover: - Oversee critical tests, such as water leak tests for the pool shell and drainage systems. - Conduct a final inspection of all civil work to identify any defects (snags) and manage their rectification before handover. - Assist in preparing as-built drawings and other technical documentation required for the final project handover file.
