# CIVIL ENGINEER - SUPERVISION **Orbit For Engineering Consultancy** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position: Civil Engineer – Supervision We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our consultancy team and supervise construction works on behalf of the Client. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor contractors’ civil works at the project site. Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contract requirements. Review and inspect contractor’s work, materials, and workmanship. Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents. Coordinate with the Client, contractor, subcontractors, and other consultants. Monitor project progress and report delays, issues, and non-conformities. Conduct site inspections and issue inspection comments/reports as required. Review and verify completed works and quantities for payment applications. Ensure proper implementation of quality control and HSE requirements. Attend site meetings and provide technical recommendations. Monitor and follow up on corrective actions and outstanding works. Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, and project handover. Maintain proper records of site inspections, approvals, correspondence, and progress. Ensure the contractor executes the works in accordance with the approved project schedule and contract requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Relevant experience in consultant-side construction supervision . Strong knowledge of civil construction, QA/QC, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Experience in site inspection and contractor supervision. Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills. Qatar/GCC consultancy experience is preferred. Valid professional registration/certification, where applicable, is an advantage. Work Location: In person
