Ensures accurate quantity take-offs, fair cost validation, contractor billing compliance, and delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification standards. Key Responsibilities BOQ / BOM Preparation, Analysis & Contractor Audit - Prepare & review detailed BOQ — accurate quantity take-offs from architectural/structural drawings, site measurements, and specifications - Develop & validate BOM — complete material schedules: quantities, specs, unit costs, allowances, waste factors, and price benchmarks against market rates - Audit contractor-submitted BOQ/BOM — cross-check volumes, unit prices, material specs, and computation methods; detect over-quantification, inflated rates, or unsubstantiated items - Perform quantity surveying & cost estimation — earthworks, concrete, steel, masonry, finishes, MEP-related civil works - Review & validate progress billings / monthly claims — reconcile actual work done vs. BOQ; certify measured works before payment - Evaluate Variation Orders (VO) — assess cost/quantity impact of design changes, scope adjustments, and site conditions; recommend approval or revision - Maintain cost database & material price benchmarks for future estimation & audit reference Project Management & Site Supervision - Lead daily site operations — supervise manpower, equipment, and subcontractors; ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence - Review shop drawings, IFC drawings, and technical specs — resolve design discrepancies; coordinate with architects/consultants - Monitor construction progress vs. baseline schedule — identify delays; implement corrective measures; prepare weekly/monthly progress reports - Enforce quality control & safety standards — conduct regular inspections; ensure compliance with National Building Code & DPWH standards - Manage material procurement & delivery — validate material requests vs. approved BOM; inspect delivered materials for quality & quantity - Coordinate client/consultant meetings, inspections, testing & commissioning - Prepare as-built drawings, turnover documents, and project handover Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering — PRC Licensed Civil Engineer is required - Minimum 5 years experience in construction — with proven hands-on BOQ/BOM preparation, quantity surveying, and contractor audit - Deep knowledge of construction materials, methods, unit rates, and cost structures - Proficient in AutoCAD / CADD for quantity take-offs; advanced MS Excel (formulas, schedules, cost sheets) - Familiarity with Unit Price Analysis, and Philippine Building Code - Strong understanding of construction contracts, billing procedures, and variation order management - Ability to read & interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings accurately - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail - Willing to be deployed to project sites as required Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month Benefits: Company Christmas gift Work Location: In person
