Urgent Hiring with Aluminum and Glazing Experience

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi. The Civil Engineer will oversee design, review, and coordination of structural and architectural elements related to aluminum, glass, and steel works, ensuring compliance with local codes and project specifications. Daily tasks include preparing and checking drawings, conducting site inspections, monitoring construction progress, and resolving technical issues with project managers, consultants, and contractors. The role involves planning and scheduling work activities, supporting quantity take-offs, reviewing shop drawings and material submittals, and contributing to quality control and safety procedures. The Civil Engineer will also collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to achieve accurate execution and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, including structural analysis and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers in building or façade-related projects, preferably involving aluminum, glass, or steel structures.
• Planning skills covering project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of site activities.
• Understanding of Stormwater Management principles and infrastructure, including drainage design and site grading.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD or similar) and strong MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of local building regulations and construction practices in the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and site personnel.
• Previous experience in façade, cladding, or curtain wall projects is an advantage.
