# Civil Engineer **HAMAD AL SAYAH CONTRACTING LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with Dubai Municipality (Baladiya) approval/pass to manage and supervise construction activities and ensure that all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and Dubai Municipality regulations. Key Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities at project sites. Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other authorities when required. Handle and follow up on Dubai Municipality approvals, inspections, permits, and related requirements . Review and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings. Coordinate with consultants and obtain necessary approvals for drawings and site works. Monitor site progress and ensure projects are completed within the approved schedule. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Conduct site inspections and ensure work quality meets project specifications. Check reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, and other civil works. Coordinate concrete pouring, inspections, testing, and related activities. Ensure materials used on site comply with approved specifications and standards. Check material deliveries and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare and review BOQ, quantity take-offs, material requirements, and estimates . Monitor project costs and minimize material wastage. Verify subcontractor work quantities and assist with payment certifications. Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and ensure proper execution of works. Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Raise and follow up on RFI, MIR, WIR, inspection requests, and other project documentation . Coordinate with the consultant for inspections and approvals. Identify construction issues and provide practical technical solutions. Ensure proper execution of setting-out, levels, dimensions, and site measurements. Monitor subcontractors and ensure their work complies with project requirements. Ensure all construction activities comply with UAE and Dubai Municipality standards and regulations . Implement and maintain quality control procedures on site. Coordinate with the HSE team and ensure compliance with site safety requirements. Attend site meetings and coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors. Maintain proper project records, drawings, approvals, inspection reports, and documentation. Review as-built drawings and ensure site changes are properly recorded. Assist with project handover, snagging, de-snagging, testing, and final completion. Coordinate final inspections and authority requirements for project completion. Monitor and resolve site technical problems and construction defects. Manage multiple activities and priorities while maintaining project quality and schedule. Perform any other civil engineering duties assigned by the Project Manager or management. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering. Dubai Municipality approval/pass is mandatory. Relevant experience in civil construction projects in Dubai/UAE. Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality requirements and construction standards. Good knowledge of structural, architectural, and finishing works. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications. Experience in site supervision and contractor/subcontractor coordination. Knowledge of quantity surveying, BOQ, and quantity take-off is an advantage. Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage site activities independently and solve technical issues. UAE driving licence is an advantage. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in residential buildings, commercial buildings, villas, fit-out, renovation, and general construction projects in Dubai will be preferred. Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
