Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for GRC and GRP projects.
• Review architectural, structural, and shop drawings to calculate quantities and identify project requirements.
• Prepare quotations, tenders, and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate material costs, variations, and subcontractor quotations.
• Monitor project costs and ensure accurate measurements and valuations.
• Prepare progress payment applications and variation claims.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in GRC and/or GRP works.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and relevant quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• UAE 2 years experience is preferred.
