The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil construction drawings, AutoCAD, and drafting standards, with the ability to prepare accurate drawings based on project Job Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed civil, architectural, structural, shop, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD. Prepare plans, elevations, sections, layouts, construction details, and other technical drawings as required for construction projects. Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings and convert design concepts and engineer instructions into detailed drawings. Prepare and modify shop drawings according to project specifications, approved design drawings, site requirements, and engineer/client comments. Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and completed construction works. Coordinate civil drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and other discipline drawings to identify and resolve clashes or discrepancies. Work closely with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, consultants, and site supervisors to understand drawing requirements and technical details. Take and verify site measurements and dimensions and incorporate accurate information into drawings. Make revisions to drawings based on site changes, consultant comments, authority requirements, and project instructions. Ensure all drawings are prepared according to project standards, specifications, approved materials, dimensions, and construction requirements . Prepare detailed drawings for concrete works, block works, masonry, foundations, slabs, columns, beams, stairs, walls, openings, finishes, and other civil works as required. Assist the engineering team in preparing drawings for construction execution and site activities . Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, title blocks, and drawing registers . Ensure that the latest approved drawings are used by the site team and that superseded drawings are properly identified and archived. Review drawings for dimensions, levels, quantities, annotations, symbols, and technical accuracy before submission. Incorporate comments received from consultants, clients, engineers, and authorities and issue revised drawings accordingly. Assist in preparing drawings and documentation required for consultant/client approval and construction submissions . Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy records of project drawings and technical documents. Coordinate with the site team to ensure that drawings accurately reflect actual construction progress and site conditions . Assist with preparation of material details, construction details, schedules, and drawing references when required. Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them to the concerned engineer. Support the project team during site inspections, technical meetings, and drawing coordination meetings when required. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of project drawings, technical information, and company documents. Perform any other drafting and technical duties assigned by the Project Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Project Manager . Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Drafting, or a related field. 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction drafting. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD . Experience in preparing civil, structural, architectural, shop, and as-built drawings. Knowledge of construction drawings and building details. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and project specifications. Good coordination and communication skills. UAE/Dubai construction experience is an advantage. Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
