# Civil Draftsman **KCJ Landscaping LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role JOB DESCRIPTION : Civil Draftsman Cum Approvals Engineer Job Title: Civil Draftsman Cum Approvals Engineer Department: Engineering / Technical Reports To: Project Manager / Engineering Manager Location: UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and organized Civil Draftsman Cum Approvals Engineer responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, authority submission drawings, and managing the approval process for civil, swimming pool, landscaping, and external works. The candidate will coordinate with project engineers, consultants, clients, authorities, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure drawings and technical documents are prepared, submitted, tracked, revised, and approved within the required project timelines. Key Responsibilities1. Civil Drafting & Technical Drawings Prepare detailed civil construction drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD. Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, layouts, and setting-out drawings. Prepare drawings for: Swimming pools and water features Landscaping and hardscape works Interlock and paving Boundary walls Concrete and structural works Blockwork and plaster Drainage and external works Villa external works Civil and architectural details Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site conditions before preparing drawings. Coordinate civil drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, and swimming pool requirements. Prepare drawings based on approved designs and project specifications. Revise drawings according to consultant/client comments. Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and approved modifications. Visit project sites when required to take measurements and verify dimensions and levels. 2. Authority & Consultant Approvals Prepare and coordinate drawings and documents required for authority and consultant submissions . Submit drawings and technical documents through applicable authority/consultant portals or submission procedures. Follow up with authorities, consultants, and clients regarding submitted drawings and documents. Maintain an updated submission and approval tracker . Monitor submission status, comments, approvals, and resubmission requirements. Review authority/consultant comments and coordinate the required revisions with the engineering/drafting team. Prepare and submit revised drawings until obtaining the required approval. Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain required NOCs, approvals, permits, and clearances where applicable. Ensure all approved drawings are properly recorded and issued to the project/site team. Maintain proper records of approved, rejected, superseded, and revised drawings. 3. Project Coordination Coordinate with Project Managers, Civil Engineers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, MEP Engineers, Landscape Engineers, and site supervisors. Attend technical coordination meetings when required. Clarify drawing requirements with site teams before construction. Identify discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site conditions. Coordinate drawing changes resulting from site conditions, client instructions, or consultant comments. Ensure construction teams are working with the latest approved drawings. 4. Document Control Maintain proper drawing registers and revision control . Maintain records of: Submitted drawings Approved drawings Consultant comments Authority comments Resubmissions As-built drawings NOCs and approvals Technical correspondence Ensure obsolete drawings are clearly identified and removed from active use. Maintain organized CAD, PDF, and project documentation folders. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Drafting, or a related field . Strong experience in AutoCAD . Knowledge about section drawings Technical Skills AutoCAD – mandatory MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook Swimming pool drawings Preferred Project Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred: Swimming pools Water features Landscaping Hardscape and interlock paving Villa construction Boundary walls Drainage and external works Civil works Authority submissions Consultant coordination Shop drawings As-built drawings Key Skills & Competencies Strong AutoCAD drafting skills Good knowledge of construction methods Good understanding of drawings, dimensions, levels, sections, and details Strong attention to detail Good coordination and communication skills Ability to follow up independently with consultants and authorities Good time management Ability to handle multiple projects and submissions simultaneously Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet submission deadlines Proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues Salary & Benefits Salary: Range 2500- 3000 AED per month Other benefits will be provided in accordance with company policy and UAE Labour Law.
