# Civil Draftsman **Evan Lim Penta Construction Co** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Civil Draughtsman with a strong construction background to prepare accurate and detailed civil engineering drawings for building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects, MEP Engineers, Consultants, and site teams to develop shop drawings, coordination drawings, construction details, and as-built drawings in accordance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, technical requirements, and relevant UAE standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed civil shop drawings, construction drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings. Develop drawings based on approved IFC drawings, design drawings, specifications, and engineering instructions. Prepare plans, sections, elevations, details, and layouts for civil construction works. Prepare drawings for foundations, footings, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, and other structural elements. Develop reinforcement detailing and concrete-related drawings as required. Prepare excavation, grading, backfilling, and earthworks drawings. Prepare site-development and general arrangement drawings. Prepare road, pavement, kerb, and external works drawings where applicable. Prepare drainage, utility, and infrastructure layouts when required. Prepare Builders' Work Drawings and coordinate openings, sleeves, and embedded items. Coordinate civil drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Identify drawing discrepancies, clashes, and coordination issues and report them to the responsible Engineer. Revise drawings based on Consultant, Client, Engineer, and authority comments. Prepare detailed drawings to support construction activities and site execution. Coordinate with Site Engineers to verify dimensions, levels, and actual site conditions. Incorporate approved changes and site modifications into drawings. Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on completed site works. Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and proper document-control records. Ensure that only the latest approved drawing revisions are used. Follow company CAD standards, drawing templates, layering conventions, and document-control procedures. Ensure drawings are completed accurately and submitted according to project schedules. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Drafting, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 4–5 years of Civil Draughtsman experience within the construction or engineering industry. UAE/GCC construction experience is highly preferred. Experience with high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage. Strong knowledge of civil construction drawings and detailing. Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and site activities. Ability to read and interpret IFC, architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings. Understanding of UAE construction standards and authority requirements is an advantage.
