The role will be responsible for business growth, operational performance, fleet productivity, hub operations, airport sales and customer experience across the city. The City Operations Lead will lead the city teams and work closely with central teams such as Finance, Technology, Customer Support, Marketing and Business Development to achieve city-level revenue and profitability targets. Key Responsibilities 1. City Business Growth Own the overall Hyderabad taxi business and city-level revenue targets. Develop and execute plans to increase rides, revenue, active customers and fleet utilization. Identify new business opportunities across airport, corporate, retail and other segments. Monitor market trends, customer demand, competition and pricing. Develop city-level growth initiatives and execute them with speed. Drive improvement in ride volume, average revenue per vehicle and overall contribution margin. Prepare and present regular city performance reports to management. 2. Fleet Operations Lead the Hyderabad Fleet Team responsible for driver/vehicle onboarding, deployment and productivity. Ensure adequate fleet availability based on demand patterns. Improve vehicle utilization and reduce idle fleet. Monitor driver productivity, attendance, availability and performance. Drive fleet expansion in line with business requirements. Ensure vehicle documentation, compliance and operational readiness. Develop initiatives to improve driver retention and reduce attrition. 3. Hub Operations Lead all Hyderabad taxi hubs and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Ensure proper vehicle allocation, dispatch readiness and turnaround time. Monitor hub productivity, vehicle availability and operational efficiency. Establish SOPs for hub operations and ensure adherence. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Ensure hubs maintain Quick Ride's standards for cleanliness, discipline, safety and customer service. 4. Airport Business & Sales Lead the Airport Sales Team and airport taxi business in Hyderabad. Drive airport pickup/drop business across relevant customer segments. Develop relationships with hotels, corporates, travel companies, online travel platforms, residential communities and other B2B partners. Identify opportunities to increase airport bookings and repeat customers. Monitor airport sales funnel, conversion, revenue and partner performance. Develop local airport-specific sales and promotional initiatives. Work with operations teams to ensure sufficient fleet availability during peak flight hours. 5. B2B & Institutional Business Identify and develop local corporate and institutional accounts. Build partnerships with companies, hotels, travel agencies, communities and other organizations. Work with the central B2B team to onboard and grow Hyderabad accounts. Ensure strong service levels for existing corporate customers. Identify opportunities for employee transportation, airport transfers and rental/outstation business. 6. Performance & MIS Own and review key city metrics including: Daily / weekly / monthly rides Revenue and contribution Active fleet Fleet utilization Rides per vehicle Driver productivity Airport rides Airport sales revenue B2B revenue Customer acquisition and repeat rate Cancellation rate Vehicle idle time Driver attrition Customer complaints and service quality Prepare daily operational reviews and monthly business plans for Hyderabad. 7. Team Leadership Lead and coordinate the Fleet Team, Hub Team and Airport Sales Team. Set clear targets and KPIs for each team. Conduct regular performance reviews. Build accountability and ownership within the city team. Recruit and develop local talent as the business scales. Coordinate with central operations, technology, finance, HR and customer support teams. 8. Customer Experience Ensure consistent and reliable taxi service across Hyderabad. Monitor customer complaints and identify recurring operational issues. Work with Customer Support and Operations teams to improve resolution time. Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, repeat bookings and service quality. Experience managing a city-level P&L / business target will be an advantage. Experience managing multiple teams and field operations. Strong understanding of fleet and driver operations. Experience in airport operations or airport sales will be an advantage.
