Responsibilities Provide strong executive leadership to all city departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and community priorities. Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that promote sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and community engagement. Oversee the management of the city’s budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility through detailed financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Lead cross-functional collaboration among departments such as public safety, infrastructure, economic development, and community services to deliver seamless services. Manage relationships with elected officials, community stakeholders, business leaders, and regional partners to foster positive engagement and partnerships. Drive process improvements by analyzing operational data and implementing innovative solutions that enhance service delivery. Lead negotiations for contracts, grants, and partnerships that benefit the community while maintaining transparency and accountability. Promote team development by mentoring senior leadership staff and cultivating a motivated workforce committed to excellence in public service. Skills Proven management expertise with a strong background in business management and operational oversight. Exceptional verbal communication skills suited for engaging with executives, elected officials, staff, and community members. Extensive experience in financial management including executive-level budget oversight and data-driven decision making. Strong leadership capabilities in managing diverse teams through strategic planning, team development, and operational management. Skilled in project management with an emphasis on process improvement and business development initiatives. Ability to navigate complex negotiations while fostering collaborative relationships across multiple stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term planning to support sustainable growth and community well-being. Demonstrated success in senior leadership roles within government or large organizations involving cross-functional collaboration.
