Children's Experience Supervisor
Aura Wellness Club is a premium wellness destination designed to provide exceptional experiences for every member of the family. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and highly responsible Kids Supervisor to support the delivery of our children's and family proposition. This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for the day-to-day children's operation, leading the team during shifts and ensuring children receive a safe, engaging and memorable experience while parents have complete confidence in the service we provide. The Role Working closely with the Children's Activity & Family Experience Manager, you will supervise the Kids team and oversee the daily operation of the children's facilities and activities. You will ensure that all activities, sessions and experiences are delivered safely, professionally and to the high standards expected of a premium wellness club. You will be a visible role model for the team and an important point of contact for children and parents. Key ResponsibilitiesChildren's Experience Deliver an exceptional experience for children and families at every visit. Welcome children and families and create a warm, engaging environment. Build positive relationships with children and parents. Ensure activities are fun, inclusive, age appropriate and well organised. Respond professionally to member feedback and concerns. Support the Manager in developing the children's experience and programme. Daily Operations Take responsibility for the Kids operation during allocated shifts. Ensure all areas are prepared, clean, safe and fully operational. Ensure daily activities and sessions run on time. Manage the daily activity timetable and make adjustments where required. Monitor attendance, capacity and participation. Ensure equipment is clean, safe and ready for use. Complete opening and closing checks. Complete effective shift handovers. Team Supervision Lead and supervise the Kids team during shifts. Allocate team members to activities and operational areas. Ensure appropriate staffing and supervision levels are maintained. Coach and support team members to deliver Aura's service standards. Lead by example in behaviour, professionalism and member service. Support the Manager with training, onboarding and team development. Address performance or conduct issues appropriately and escalate where required. Safeguarding & Child Protection Safeguarding is a non-negotiable priority. Ensure all safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed. Maintain appropriate supervision and child-to-staff ratios. Follow correct child registration and collection procedures. Ensure only authorised adults collect children. Recognise and appropriately escalate safeguarding concerns. Ensure incidents and accidents are reported correctly. Maintain confidentiality regarding children and families. Ensure all required safeguarding checks and training are maintained. Activities & Programmes Support the delivery of daily children's activities and classes. Assist with specialist children's programmes and workshops. Support holiday programmes and seasonal activities. Help deliver children's parties and family events. Encourage participation and create an energetic atmosphere. Identify new activity ideas and share them with the Manager. Ensure activities are delivered consistently and professionally. Health, Safety & Cleanliness Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation. Complete regular safety checks of children's areas and equipment. Ensure risk assessments and operating procedures are followed. Respond appropriately to accidents, incidents and emergencies. Report maintenance or safety issues immediately. Ensure children are supervised appropriately at all times. Commercial Awareness Although the Kids Supervisor is not responsible for the departmental P&L, you will play an important role in supporting the commercial performance of the department. Encourage participation in paid activities and programmes. Support children's parties, events and specialist classes. Promote activities and experiences to members. Identify opportunities to increase participation and utilisation. Support the Manager in achieving attendance and revenue targets. Deliver excellent experiences that encourage repeat visits and family retention. About You We are looking for someone who has: Previous experience in a Kids Club, children's activity, leisure, education, sports or family entertainment environment. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. A genuine passion for working with children. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A warm, energetic and engaging personality. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment. Experience delivering children's activities and events. A strong customer/member service mindset. A proactive, hands-on approach. Swimming experience or relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Pay: KD400.000 - KD500.000 per month Work Location: In person
