Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary

The Chief Technology Officer sets technology strategy and leads the teams and systems that support business goals. You’ll guide software development, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, turning priorities into secure, scalable solutions. Duties

• Set strategic plans for technology, architecture, product management, and AI integration; assess emerging AI and machine learning opportunities
• Lead executive-level team management, technology team management, project and program management, and cross-functional delivery using Agile practices and the software development life cycle
• Oversee system design, application development, APIs, distributed systems, business intelligence, data management security, and platforms such as React, Express, Angular, JavaScript, Java, C#,.NET, Node.js, Python, PHP, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Direct cloud infrastructure and development across AWS, Azure, and Linux environments; oversee networking, wide area networks (WAN), firewalls, DevOps, and enterprise resource planning systems
• Manage budgeting, risk, business continuity, and disaster recovery; lead IT governance and security compliance programs aligned with applicable NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, and FISMA requirements

Skills

• Required: Executive leadership, senior leadership, management, strategic management, IT management, project management, team supervision, and clear verbal communication with executives
• Required: Experience leading software development, system design, scalable systems, IT infrastructure, information security, cybersecurity, and security compliance
• Preferred: Computer science background; familiarity with ITIL, Microsoft Office, HTML, natural language processing, and varied cloud and development technologies.
• Strong analysis, negotiation, and decision-making skills; ability to align technical priorities with business needs

Pay: $230,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year
