Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary

The Chief Technology Officer sets technology strategy and leads the teams and systems that support business goals. You’ll guide software development, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation while partnering with executives on priorities, budgets, and risk. This role calls for strategic planning, clear communication, and hands on judgment across architecture, delivery, and governance

Duties

• Set technology direction and oversee system design, application development, scalable and distributed systems, APIs, and product management.
• Lead technology teams and technical project and program managers; manage project delivery using Agile methods and the software development life cycle
• Direct cloud infrastructure and development across AWS and Azure, plus networking, DevOps, IT operations, and disaster recovery
• Oversee information security, data management security, security compliance programs, risk management, business continuity planning, and applicable NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, and FISMA requirements
• Evaluate AI integration, machine learning, natural language processing, business intelligence, and enterprise resource planning systems to advance business capabilities

Requirements

• Demonstrated executive leadership, senior leadership, IT management, strategic management, budgeting, negotiation, and executive level team management experience
• Strong knowledge of information security, IT security management, IT governance, ITIL, firewall controls, computer networking, WAN, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with system design and software development; familiarity with React, Express, Angular, JavaScript, Java, C#,.NET, Node.js, PHP, Python, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, HTML, and Linux
• Ability to communicate verbally with executives and apply analysis, project management, and team management skills
• Computer science education or equivalent expertise; Microsoft Office proficiency. Familiarity with security compliance, AI, and cloud platforms is preferred

Pay: $280,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
