Role Description The Chief Technology Officer & AI Consultant is ideally a full-time, on-site role based in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area . This role oversees the technology vision and AI strategy, ensuring that solutions align with client business goals and 3Point Consulting’s long-term roadmap. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading software and product development initiatives, guiding technical architecture decisions, and managing complex technology projects from concept through delivery. The role also involves advising clients on AI adoption, data strategy, and IT governance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design integrated solutions, and mentoring technical staff to uphold best practices and innovation. The CTO & AI Consultant will regularly interface with executive stakeholders, present strategic recommendations, and ensure that technology investments deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Software Development and Product Development, with experience delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
• Expertise in IT Strategy and Architecture, including designing enterprise-level systems and data-driven AI platforms.
• Proven Project Management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-phase initiatives.
• Experience as a senior technology leader (e.g., CTO, Head of Engineering, or equivalent) in consulting, technology, or data-focused organizations.
• Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and data analytics, including practical implementation in business environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
• Ability to work on-site in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, cybersecurity best practices, and modern development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) is highly beneficial.
