Operating eight successful locations in Buffalo, NY, and a growing presence in Phoenix, AZ, the company is under its fourth-generation leadership. With an aggressive growth strategy, the brand seeks to expand further in Phoenix and other markets through a combination of company-owned stores and franchised locations. Position Summary The Senior District Operations Leader will serve as the primary strategic and operational leader for the Arizona market—directly overseeing current operations and spearheading a new store build. This role also supervises and mentors the Buffalo, NY District Manager, ensuring operational alignment across all locations. The ideal candidate is a high-performing, hands-on leader with 15–20 years of fast-casual or multi-unit restaurant management experience, a track record of building successful teams, and demonstrated expertise in scaling operations. Core Responsibilities - Arizona Market Leadership: Assume full operational responsibility for Arizona, including leading a ground-up new store build and overseeing the market’s day-to-day performance. - Cross-Market Oversight: Mentor and supervise the Buffalo District Manager, ensuring brand consistency in operations, training, and guest experience across eight Buffalo locations. - Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with construction, HR, marketing, training, and finance teams to ensure successful store openings, transitions, and ongoing performance. - Operational Excellence: Champion a culture of hospitality, operational excellence, and best-in-class service by upholding and strengthening legacy brand standards. - Performance Management: Analyze and interpret performance data to implement strategies that drive sales growth, labor efficiency, and superior customer satisfaction. - Growth Initiatives: Play a key role in future expansion efforts, including franchise development and drive-thru innovation. - Travel: Maintain a strong leadership presence through regular travel and in-person engagement in both Arizona and Buffalo markets. Required Qualifications - Experience: 15–20 years of progressive restaurant operations leadership, with at least 5 years in a multi-unit management capacity. - New Store Openings: Demonstrated success overseeing new restaurant builds and launches. - Team Leadership: Proven skills in managing, mentoring, and motivating large, diverse teams across multiple markets. - Emotional Intelligence: High degree of emotional intelligence with the ability to unite and inspire cross-functional teams. - Operational Discipline: Deep knowledge of fast-casual environments, including a solid grasp of operational standards and discipline. - Mobility: Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently between Arizona and Buffalo as required. Responsibilities are 80% store level and 20% Corporate.
