The CNO provides executive oversight of nursing manpower, clinical nursing standards, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, competency development, and resource utilization. The position also ensures that Nursing Services maintains operational readiness and compliance with applicable DOH standards, Philippine Nursing Law (RA 9173), Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) requirements, and other relevant healthcare regulations. Key responsibilities - Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the Nursing Services Division - Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, standards, and operational plans aligned with hospital objectives - Establish an effective nursing organizational structure with clearly defined reporting relationships, responsibilities, and accountability - Direct and supervise nursing operations across all applicable clinical areas, including inpatient units, critical care, emergency services, operating rooms, and specialty centers - Collaborate with the hospital's executive leadership, Medical Affairs, Human Resources, Quality Management, and other departments to ensure integrated healthcare delivery - Prepare and oversee the Nursing Services annual operational plan and budget - Ensure that nursing operations comply with applicable DOH licensing standards and regulatory requirements - Determine nursing manpower requirements based on authorized bed capacity, patient census, acuity, workload, and operational requirements - Establish and monitor nursing care standards consistent with evidence-based clinical practice - Oversee nursing orientation, competency assessment, continuing professional development, and clinical training programs About you - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Master's Degree major in Nursing (MAN/MSN) - Valid Philippine PRC Registered Nurse License - At least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position in nursing - At least two (2) years of general nursing service administration experience - Member in good standing of the accredited professional organization of nurses - Extensive knowledge of hospital nursing administration and clinical operations - Working knowledge of DOH licensing standards and hospital regulatory compliance - Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management capabilities - Competency in nursing manpower planning, deployment, and resource allocation Job Type: Full-time Benefits: - Company events - Employee discount - Health insurance - Opportunities for promotion - Promotion to permanent employee Education: - Bachelor's (Required) Experience: - Nursing Manager: 5 years (Required) Language: - English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
