Sponsor value and commercial impact - Work closely with sales leadership to ensure marketing directly supports sponsor acquisition, sponsor retention and overall event profitability - Help shape sponsor propositions by strengthening the value of audience insight, content reach, thought-leadership opportunities and brand positioning. - Ensure marketing activity supports the full commercial cycle, from pre-event positioning to post-event follow-up and proof of value. Brand, content and market leadership - Elevate Cosmonauts' market profile as a trusted platform for legal technology insight, relationships and buying conversations. - Lead the content and communications strategy across email, social, digital channels, partnerships and owned media. - Ensure event campaigns, brand messaging and content programmes are consistent, high quality and commercially relevant. - Use research, audience insight and competitor analysis to inform positioning and strategy. - Build a more strategic year-round marketing approach, not limited to individual event promotion. Team leadership and capability building - Lead, develop and inspire the marketing team, creating clarity on roles, priorities, processes and standards. - Evolve the structure, disciplines and metrics needed for a high-performing executive-level marketing function. - Coach and mentor team members while retaining a practical understanding of campaign execution. - Foster close collaboration across marketing, sales, production and operations.
