Chief of Joinery Detailer

Geometry Home Furniture Manufacturing LLC is seeking an experienced Chief of Joinery Detailer to lead our joinery detailing team and oversee the preparation of technical drawings and production documentation for custom furniture and joinery projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven team leadership experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project, design, and production departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the joinery detailing team.
• Assign tasks, manage workloads, and monitor drawing schedules.
• Prepare, review, and approve shop drawings, technical details, and production documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with design intent, site measurements, project specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, designers, site teams, and production departments.
• Resolve technical issues and provide practical detailing solutions.
• Ensure approved drawings and documentation are transferred to production on time.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, quality, and consistency across projects.
• Coordinate drawing revisions and ensure the latest approved versions are used.
• Improve detailing workflows and support the development of team members.
• Ensure project deadlines and company quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience in joinery detailing, furniture detailing, or a similar technical role.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team of detailers.
• Strong knowledge of custom furniture manufacturing and joinery construction.
• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Proficiency in Bazis-Woodworker is required.
• Ability to prepare and review detailed shop drawings and production documentation.
• Strong leadership, organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• UAE experience in joinery or furniture manufacturing is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-end custom furniture, wardrobes, cabinets, doors, wall panels, and interior joinery.
• Experience coordinating with workshop production and site installation teams.
• Knowledge of material specifications, furniture hardware, and manufacturing methods.
• Experience improving detailing workflows and technical documentation standards.
