Chief Investment Strategist

Job Overview

Crescent Grove Advisors is seeking an experienced Chief Investment Strategist to lead investment research and provide strategic market insights that support the firm's investment decisions. This role is responsible for analyzing financial markets, evaluating economic trends, and identifying potential investment opportunities and risks across relevant asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and analysis of financial markets, economic conditions, and investment trends to develop informed market perspectives.
• Formulate investment strategies and asset allocation recommendations based on economic research, market data, and portfolio considerations.
• Monitor market developments, interest rate movements, and portfolio exposures to identify potential risks and investment opportunities.
• Evaluate trends across fixed income, real estate, and other relevant asset classes, assessing their implications for investment strategy and portfolio positioning.
• Collaborate with portfolio management and investment research teams to communicate strategic views and support investment decisions.
• Prepare investment outlooks, market reports, and research presentations for senior management, internal stakeholders, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or CFA designation is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in investment research, investment strategy, asset management, or portfolio management, preferably within an investment advisory or financial services firm.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomic developments, monetary policy, interest rates, and asset allocation principles.
• Ability to evaluate market conditions, identify investment opportunities, assess portfolio risks, and develop sound investment recommendations.
• Familiarity with fixed income markets and portfolio analysis. Experience with real estate investments or alternative asset classes is a plus.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, evaluate market trends, and communicate independent investment perspectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial research platforms or market data services such as Bloomberg.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare investment reports and present findings to senior management and clients.
• Working knowledge of applicable financial regulations and an understanding of their impact on investment activities.

Pay: $148,000.00 - $174,000.00 per year
