Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Lead the organization’s information security strategy, protecting data, systems, and services while enabling responsible innovation and digital transformation. As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you’ll partner with executives and technology teams to manage risk, strengthen security compliance programs, and build resilient IT infrastructure across cloud and distributed environments. Duties

• Set strategic plans for cybersecurity, IT security management, information security compliance, and security governance, aligning programs with NIST standards, ISO 27001, PCI, and FISMA requirements as applicable.
• Lead executive-level team management, budgeting, risk management, and security compliance programs; communicate priorities and trade-offs clearly with senior leadership.
• Oversee security architecture for AWS, Azure, cloud computing, computer networking, WAN, firewalls, APIs, ERP systems, and data management security.
• Guide secure software development and system design across scalable systems, SDLC, DevOps, Agile delivery, AI integration, and machine learning applications.
• Direct business continuity planning and disaster recovery, coordinating with IT, product management, and technical project and program managers.

Experience

• Executive leadership, strategic management, IT management, technology team management, and supervisory experience in information security or cybersecurity.
• Strong analysis, negotiation, project management, and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives.
• Broad technical familiarity with system development and application development; relevant technologies may include React, Express, Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, Java, C#,.NET, PHP, Python, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Linux, HTML, and business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of cloud development, distributed systems, natural language processing, and ITIL; Microsoft Office proficiency is useful.
• A computer science background is relevant; experience with AI and scalable system design is valued.

Pay: $106,600.00 - $127,000.00 per year
