Job Summary Revelia is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the company's technology strategy, digital capabilities, technology operations, AI initiatives, data infrastructure, and technology organization. The CIO will work closely with founders and functional leaders to ensure that Revelia's technology strategy supports business growth, product innovation, operational scalability, and an exceptional consumer experience. This role requires a technology leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution and who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving, AI-enabled consumer technology environment. The CIO will help define Revelia's long-term technology roadmap while ensuring that product, engineering, AI, data, infrastructure, security, and technology operations remain aligned with the company's business priorities. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute Revelia's overall technology strategy in alignment with company objectives and growth priorities. Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps, priorities, capabilities, and investment requirements. Advise founders and senior leadership on major technology opportunities, risks, priorities, and decisions. Establish scalable technology processes, governance structures, and operating models. Evaluate existing technology capabilities and identify opportunities for modernization and improvement. Balance speed, innovation, scalability, reliability, security, and operational efficiency. Product, Engineering & AI Leadership Partner closely with Product, Engineering, AI, Design, Growth, Marketing, and Operations teams. Provide technology leadership for the development and evolution of Revelia's AI-powered consumer products. Support technology planning for new product features, platform enhancements, and major releases. Guide technology initiatives involving web, mobile applications, backend systems, AI capabilities, subscriptions, payments, analytics, APIs, and third-party integrations. Ensure technology architecture and systems can support continued product and user growth. Help identify opportunities where AI can enhance customer experiences, internal operations, and business performance. Digital Transformation Lead technology and digital transformation initiatives across the organization. Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology, automation, AI, and data. Develop scalable technology capabilities that support organizational growth. Improve integration and coordination across technology platforms and business systems. Establish appropriate technology standards, documentation, architecture principles, and operating practices. Technology Delivery & Execution Establish clear technology priorities, roadmaps, milestones, owners, dependencies, and delivery expectations. Improve visibility and predictability across major technology initiatives. Ensure major technology projects and product initiatives are executed effectively. Identify resource constraints, technical dependencies, delivery risks, and bottlenecks. Work with teams to resolve critical technology issues and maintain delivery momentum. Establish appropriate executive reporting and review mechanisms for technology initiatives. Data & Analytics Develop and strengthen Revelia's approach to data, analytics, reporting, and technology-enabled decision-making. Ensure data capabilities support product, growth, operations, and business teams. Promote appropriate data governance, ownership, consistency, accessibility, and quality. Support the development of analytics capabilities that improve understanding of customer behavior, product performance, and business outcomes. Ensure technology teams can provide reliable data and insights to leadership. Technology Governance, Security & Risk Establish appropriate technology governance and risk-management practices. Identify and manage technology, infrastructure, data, security, operational, and integration risks. Strengthen technology controls without creating unnecessary complexity or bureaucracy. Ensure important technology risks are communicated clearly to leadership. Support appropriate access management, technology resilience, business continuity, and system reliability practices. Evaluate technology vendors and third-party platforms from strategic, operational, and risk perspectives. Team Leadership Provide strategic direction and leadership to technology teams and technology leaders. Build a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Define appropriate roles, responsibilities, ownership, and performance expectations across technology functions. Mentor and develop technology leaders and team members. Identify capability gaps and recommend appropriate hiring, development, vendor, or technology solutions. Support the development of a scalable technology organization as Revelia grows. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product, Engineering, AI, Design, Marketing, Growth, Operations, Customer Support, Finance, and other business functions. Serve as the bridge between business objectives and technology execution. Help business leaders understand technology opportunities, limitations, risks, and tradeoffs. Facilitate alignment when technology initiatives involve multiple teams or competing priorities. Drive accountability and clear ownership across major cross-functional technology initiatives. Technology Investment & Vendor Management Evaluate technology platforms, vendors, partnerships, tools, and third-party services. Ensure technology investments are aligned with business priorities and expected outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve technology efficiency and reduce unnecessary complexity. Support resource-allocation and technology investment decisions. Provide clear recommendations to leadership regarding strategic technology decisions. Required Qualifications 10+ years of professional technology experience , including significant senior technology leadership experience. Experience in roles such as CIO, CTO, VP Technology, VP Engineering, Head of Technology, Head of IT, or similar executive technology positions. Proven experience defining and executing enterprise or product technology strategy. Strong understanding of software development, digital platforms, cloud technology, data, integrations, infrastructure, and technology operations. Experience working with AI-enabled products or AI-driven technology initiatives. Experience leading product, technology, digital transformation, or modernization initiatives. Proven ability to translate business requirements into technology strategies and execution plans. Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder-management experience. Experience working directly with founders, CEOs, CXOs, or senior business leaders. Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technology topics to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities. Preferred Background Experience in one or more of the following environments is highly desirable: Consumer technology AI-enabled products SaaS platforms Digital platforms Mobile applications Internet businesses Product-led organizations High-growth startups Digital transformation programs Data-driven technology organizations Experience working with modern technology environments involving mobile applications, web platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, analytics, AI technologies, subscriptions, payment systems, and third-party integrations is beneficial. Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technology, Business, Management, or a related discipline. MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications in cloud, security, architecture, data, AI, Agile, technology management, or related disciplines are advantageous.
