Chief Information Officer

Job Summary

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) sets technology direction and leads the systems, teams, and security programs that support organizational goals. You’ll guide digital transformation, IT infrastructure, cloud strategy, and responsible AI integration while aligning investment and delivery with business priorities. Your impact: Reliable, secure technology and useful business intelligence help teams make informed decisions and serve customers effectively.

Duties

• Lead strategic planning, IT governance, budgeting, and executive-level team management; communicate priorities and risks clearly to executives.
• Oversee computer networking, WAN (wide area network), cloud infrastructure, scalable and distributed systems, system design, software development, and application development.
• Direct information security, data management security, cybersecurity, security compliance programs, risk management, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery; align programs with applicable NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, and FISMA requirements.
• Advance AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and business intelligence initiatives; oversee product management, project management, and Agile delivery.
• Guide architecture and development across AWS, Azure, ERP systems, APIs, DevOps, and relevant technologies such as React, Express, Angular, JavaScript, Java, C#,.NET, Node.js, Python, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Linux, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience

• Demonstrated executive leadership, senior leadership, IT management, strategic management, and technology team management experience.
• Technical project and program manager supervisory experience, with strong management, team leadership, negotiation, analysis, and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of IT security management, information security compliance, ITIL, SDLC (software development life cycle), firewall administration, cloud computing, and cloud development.
• Computer science background and familiarity with Microsoft Office, PHP, HTML, and React are relevant; specific tools and platforms may vary by environment.

Pay: $91,740.00 - $194,957.00 per year
