This executive role is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will possess extensive accounting and finance experience, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and have a deep understanding of accounting standards such as GAAP. As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO-Controller will ensure the integrity of financial data, optimize financial systems, and support the company's growth objectives through sound financial management. Duties - Lead and manage the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. - Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and internal controls. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies, maintaining high standards of financial integrity. - Develop and implement effective accounting systems and financial software to streamline operations and improve reporting accuracy. - Prepare detailed financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal stakeholders and external regulators or auditors. - Collaborate with executive leadership to develop corporate strategies, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. - Monitor financial performance metrics and identify areas for cost optimization or revenue enhancement. - Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance. - Stay current on changes in accounting standards such as GAAP and adapt internal processes accordingly. - Provide strategic guidance on financial risks, investments, mergers & acquisitions, and other corporate initiatives. Skills - Extensive accounting and finance experience with a proven track record in executive leadership roles. - Deep knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP. - Strong expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. - Proficiency with various accounting systems and financial software platforms. - Demonstrated ability to manage finance teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment. - Strategic thinking skills with experience in corporate strategy development. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. - Effective communication skills suitable for engaging with executive leadership, board members, auditors, and regulatory bodies. - Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and drive organizational success.
