Chief Financial Officer

Overview

Lead the organization’s financial strategy as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). You’ll guide financial planning, reporting, compliance, and treasury operations while partnering with senior leaders on business decisions. Apply sound judgment, clear communication, and strong financial acumen to support sustainable performance across the organization.

Duties

• Direct budgeting, forecasting, financial projection model development, and fiscal management; oversee profit and loss, revenue management, expense management, and cost control.
• Lead corporate accounting, financial accounting, tax accounting, payroll management, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate statements and clear report writing and interpretation.
• Oversee regulatory reporting and financial compliance, applying generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS), and relevant requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Accounting Standards Codification Topic 606 (ASC 606), and the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO), as applicable.
• Guide treasury management, risk analysis, risk management, market analysis, and financial modeling; advise on corporate strategy, business development, fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions.

Skills

• Required: Senior leadership, finance directorship, finance team management, supervising experience, and demonstrated accounting and finance experience.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, financial statement analysis and interpretation, negotiation, strategic planning, and business analysis skills.
• Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting systems and software, technical and cost accounting, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
• Experience relevant to the organization’s setting; nonprofit or governmental accounting, public accounting, revenue cycle management, supply chain, and fundraising are valuable where applicable.

Pay: $23.99 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
