Chief Financial Officer

HFE is a small defense manufacturing company that is in need of a CFO to guide supply chain decisions, forecast cash flow, provide tax advice, verify that all credits and debits are moving per GAAP standards. Write and create all documentation for processes in compliance with GAAP. HFE uses the M1 MRP software. It would be beneficial if the applicant has experience with this software.

Duties

• Write procedures and update policies to keep the company in compliance with GAAP.
• Clean up and correct any accounting transactions to align with GAAP.
• Complete month end and year end close in a timely manner.
• Provide monthly statistics for cash flow and project performance to the management team.
• Set up and verify accruals are debiting and crediting correctly.
• Lead audit communications with DCMA/DCAA, State and Local Governments and prime contractors.
• Calculation of rates, G&A, and fringe benefits in compliance with DCMA/DCAA.
• Create projections for future years based on current statistics and sales.

Requirements

· Current and active CPA, CMA, and/or CFPO qualification.

· Experience with inventory management and control.

· Experience with Government contracts and audit requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience using M1 MRP software.

· Experience in small companies

Pay: $99,100.00 - $120,000.00 per year
