Chief Financial Officer

The role will require extensive travel, including international travel, and a regular on-site presence at our facilities in Assumption, Illinois, and Taylorville, Illinois, which serve as the de facto headquarters for our North America Grain and North America Protein businesses respectively, as well as at our global GPT headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.

Over the next 18 months, your primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables include, but are not limited to:

• Build a winning culture
• Build an accountable high-performance culture and be a role model of the Winning Culture at GPT
• Build Scalable Financial Infrastructure
• Upgrade (as necessary) financial systems, reporting architecture, and data capabilities to support a $2.5B+ enterprise.
• Establish best-in-class forecasting, planning, and scenario modeling capabilities (rolling P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Net Debt forecasts quarterly, 13-week forward cash flow forecast).
• Ensure finance is a forward-looking, insight-generating function - not merely a reporting function.
• Cascade financial measurements standards into the business units to drive consistency and clarity throughout company reporting.
• Optimize Cash Flow & Balance Sheet Performance
• Create high-performing global treasury organization - improve business visibility to short and medium-term cash needs.
• Understand trapped cash/true cash EBITDA by country.
• Execute strategies for efficient cash repatriation and tax optimization across complex global structures leveraging existing legal entity and intercompany loan framework where suitable.
• Assist CEO in driving the Operating Agenda & Operational Rigor in all business units/ regions.
• Attainment of ambitious results
• Support Business Presidents and Functional leaders to help double the business by 2029 (vs 2024) organically, and further grow acquisitively.
• Help GPT unequivocally become THE Best Grain and Protein Business in the World.
